SOME NOTES
Black Tie was shot in Thessaloniki, Greece, in 2006. The film is insired by Chuck Palahniuk's novel, Survivor. It was also a no budget production but since the shooting took place in mainly one location the production was much better organised. A Sony HDV camcorder was used and the film achieves at least a better technical quality.
I am rather emotionally attached to this film since it was the first one to be awarded and because I would like to adopt the aesthetics and the viewpoint achieved in Black Tie at my first feature film.

SYNOPSIS
Living in the house of corruption, along with the companionship of his goldfish no. 268, a lonely butler seeks for an exit among the problems of every loser that is still alive.
A butler works and lives alone in a house. Although, he never meets his employers, he strictly follows his everyday schedule of ordinary and less ordinary tasks. His routine is interrupted by desperate people, looking for help by calling his personal landline due to a newspaper misprint. A full time slave. A part time God. Leading everyone to kill themselves.
