SOME NOTES
under stress is the first film I shot in Athens, Greece. It was quite difficult to find all cast & crew members in a new city. The script was ispired by a true story and it was altered several times untill we had somothing condense to shoot with limited budget. The film was shot with a Canon 7D DSLR in less than three days. Cast & crew cooperated almost perfectly and it has been my best three shooting days.
The film was widely accepted by festivals, juries and mainly the audience. It has been awarded several times and till now it participates in some off competition screenings.
SYNOPSIS
Right after her Ph.D., Maria attempts, for the first time in her life, to enter the corporate world. She confronts a series of incidents that put her dreams and ambitions into question.
Strict and, in some cases, cruel behaviour of the Human Resources Department along with unfair competition among candidates set Maria against her beliefs and raise moral issues she had never considered before. No matter how much she strives to prove her skills and qualifications, in the end, she must give an answer to the dilemma; compromise or integrity.
